My computer is "stuck" in Safe Mode. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Being "stuck" in safe mode generally indicates that one of the main system files (usually called DLLs) is damaged or missing, or that a piece of the computer's hardware is not operating properly. This latter condition could be caused by either a failure in the device or by a missing or improper device driver.When your computer boots up in safe mode, pay close attention to determine why it is booting up that way. There will usually be some sort of an error message telling you what is wrong and why safe mode is being chosen.
